MSU Resolution Office (RO) & Hearings

The Resolution Office (RO) is responsible for facilitating a fair and supportive hearing process following the conclusion of formal investigations conducted by the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) under the RVSM and Title IX Policy.  The hearing process affords parties the opportunity to ask questions (through advisors) of other parties and witnesses in front of a neutral decision-maker (resolution officer).  RO trains all resolution officers as well as university provided advisors.

RO works closely with the Office of Support and Equity to coordinate supportive measure for all parties during hearings and with the OIE to coordinate the efficient referral of matters to RO following the completion of formal investigations under the RVSM and Title IX Policy.
